chibiguri (ちびぐり)

We have been working on chibiguri to help him count, reading to him and asking him 'How many...?" as a constant exercise. however, until recently we have not experienced much luck. However, as we were traveling to my sister's for Christmas, imagines our surprise when he suddenly began counting in the back seat! He got all the way up to fourteen, but ran out of numbers at that point. We have so far been unable to reproduce this, but it was a major milestone in chibiguri's development.
